Emergency Food and Clothing Pantry - Charlotte, NC We are an emergency food pantry and ministry in Charlotte, NC whose vision is to meet people right where they are and allow the power of God to transform their lives. Our Charlotte area food pantry is open Mondays and Wednesdays We open at 9:30am and serve the first 45 Families each day Our Ministry C.U.P. Ministry was started in 1986 by several area churches as a way to meet the growing needs of the surrounding community. Over the years, CUP has grown to the point where the doors are now open to anyone that comes in search of help, no matter where they may call home. Our food pantry exists to give food and clothing to the homeless, the bound, the working poor, as well a s those going through a crisis and need one-time assistance. We also try to find open doors for other types of assistance as well by connecting clients with resources in the Charlotte area. Throughout Scripture, God took what seemed small to the human eye and blessed it beyond measure. Over the last 2 years we have watched as God has blessed and multiplied the resources we have.Our prayer is to be found faithful with everything God has entrusted us with, and to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in all aspects of the ministry. With God’s leading, the doors were opened at CUP for church services to be held every Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm. We have watched as God has brought people from all walks of life together to spend time in His Word. Everyone is welcomed as we come together for a time of worship in His house. GOD has great plans for HIS Ministry - including making a way to move all of the food into additional storage space outside of the original house so another office can be created to make it possible to serve twice as many families each day. The testimonies of the people that we have seen come through the doors of CUP continue to amaze and encourage us. God’s hand has been evident in all aspects of the ministry, and we look forward to see what He has planned in the coming months. Come be a part of a testimony ! |
